Six years is a long time between sequels, and this new installment of the franchise seems pretty stale since Scary veteran Marlon Wayans jumped ship to co-write and star in A Haunted House, which spoofed Paranormal Activity and performed remarkably well at the January box office (in fact, a sequel was just announced this week).
