THE BUZZ: This project was originally conceived as an action/comedy set to reteam Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn after Wedding Crashers (who instead torpedo their comedy relationship with The Internship), but it wound up being handled by Icelandic director Baltasar Kormakur, who reunites with Mark Wahlberg in the wake of Contraband's breakout success. Cute to see that the laughs weren't jettisoned in favor of a more straight-up action/thriller.
